Fitment & Installation Notes

Because we prioritize strength and thickness, this is a performance component that requires minor "clearancing" to account for the variety of BMW casting tolerances over the years.

• M54 Engines: Requires minor grinding on the oil pump housing to ensure a perfect fit with the reinforced profile.

• M52 Engines: Generally a bolt-on affair; however, due to factory casting inaccuracies in some blocks, minor clearancing may be required.

• Note: We recommend a "mock-up" fitment during your engine assembly to check all tolerances.
